Happy Customers Say...
First company to specialized themselves in racket sports, for more than 125 years Babolat will put all its passion into inventing what does not yet exist. One year after the official invention of tennis, in 1875, Pierre Babolat created the first strings made of natural gut. After 1925 and the appearance of VS brand, Babolat writes a decisive page in the history of world tennis. After concentring all its efforts on the improvement and perfection of stringing Babolat embarked upon a new adventure: frame and stringing accessories. From the Babol to the grips, from introducing electronics into stringing machines to the development of sheath fibers, Babolat has always been an innovator in tennis equipment. Already renowned, in 1994, Babolat is betting on the racket. Babolat has been able to find its place on all courts of the world throughout the decades. Since the very first Davis Cup, including the Masters, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, the US Open and the Australian Open, Babolat has accompanied all the champions to the top of the podium. The best players of the world namely, the Musketeers, Ashe, Nastase, Borg, Wilander, Becker, Sampras… have all win with Babolat strings. In 1998 Carlos Moya wins Roland Garros with a Babolat racket. From now on, Babolat becomes a “total tennis” company.
